Its so inconvenient to have to use an adapter and it wont. I purchased this to use as a backup camera and I like the camera, but not a CF card. I impulsively purchased a used Canon 50D and was dismayed to discover that it uses CF cards. This is something less worthy readers rarely do, and I have many dead readers due to bent pins from shallow CF wells. It works on most operating systems without the need of. In terms of design, the card is minimalistic with a piano black finish and a non-removable USB cable.
